What is GHSI?
The Global Health and Safety Initiative (GHSI) is a sector-wide collaboration to transform the way that healthcare designs, builds and operates its facilities, as well as the products used within those facilities. On our new website, you will find more information about our mission, work, resources, founders, supporters, partners, and staff.
When was GHSI founded?
GHSI was formally launched at a press conference in Oakland, California last October when executives and senior leaders of some of the leading healthcare systems and nonprofits joined together to create a first-of-its-kind sector-wide partnership to green the healthcare industry and improve patient and worker health and safety.
How can my organization get involved?
Those interested in the issues being addressed by GHSI are encouraged to join the Initiative and participate actively in workgroups.
